Very interesting what you are writing here. How do you think that communities like FB, which is pretty much computer oriented and not phone oriented, can profit from iphone etc?
I totally believe that lifelogging on a mobile phone will be much bigger eventually. But then still it is nice to see it at home on a bigger screen.
We have this service to remember loved ones at respectance.com
For me it would mean a lot if people could use their phones to have an even bigger and better experience. Any suggestions?

Because of its power and flexibility, iPhone will certainly help services like FB to help existing users to use iPhone to access their services. The biggest quesiton is "is FB the right type of service for always-connected users?"

I am one of those people who strongly believe that the new and optimized services must be built from scratch to service this completely new lifestyle, just like Instant Messenger did for e-mail (I am a big fan of "Innovator's Dilemma" ;-).

Hi Satoshi, thanks for posting on my blog. I thought this was a really interesting article as well. It's really quite interesting how something popular in Japan and RoW (Rest of world) can differ so much sometimes. good luck with your iphone app. how did you find my blog btw?
